Richie left Brighton Grammar after Year 10 to move to the US with his family, finishing his schooling at Greenwich High School in Greenwich Connecticut. While at BGS, Richie was a member of the swimming and water polo teams, earning the water polo team’s Best and Fairest award three times. Richie was also a member of the Australian Water Polo Squad through 2011.

After finishing school, Richie studied at Bucknell University where he played water polo and pursued a degree in International Relations and Economics. Richie was a 3-time NCAA All American and Player of the Year. Following college, Richie played professional water polo in Sevilla Spain for CW Sevilla.

Following his time in Spain, Richie returned to Australia in 2011 where he was selected as a member of the Australian Water Polo squad before moving to Los Angeles to start IRIS.TV. Richie has built IRIS.TV into the market-leading video personalization platform globally, helping customers such as News Corp, CBS, Fox, BBC and hundreds of others world-wide grow their digital advertising revenue. In 2018, Richie was listed in the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Enterprise Technology category, a great honour for him and the company.

Richie lives in New York and serves on the Board of Ronald McDonald House NYC, supporting the efforts of the children’s cancer treatment centre.
